The Tasty Tales from the Phoenix shares recipes and stories inspired by the delicious homegrown food of my youth and my adventures as a natural food chef specializing in vegetarian whole food cuisine. Meals are designed to strengthen the bones, build up blood and nurture an unborn child. Food doesn't need to be complicated, there are soups and stews steeped with wise folklore to ease sorrow, puddings and cakes to enhance gratitude & chocolate and spices to deepen desire.
